All about State bank of India Probationary post -2018

SBI PO is a highly estimable and lucrative career option for all bank aspirants. However, giving the best hard work helps to be fitted in the reputed Government sector. SBI PO 2018 is conducted by State Bank of India to appoint Probationary officer throughout the country. Since SBI PO official notification is released the aspirants might aware of exam dates, syllabus and other necessary information.

SBI PO is being one of the coveted jobs in the banking industry, it attracts many lakhs of candidates every year to fulfill their dreams in the biggest public sector. SBI declared a total of 2000 vacancies to be filled out throughout the country. In three phases SBI PO selection procedure is conducted. Preliminary, mains and interview are the three levels of phases and once the merit list is announced by SBI after conducting all the phases.

SBI released prelims admit card for SBI PO 2018 preliminary exam. Students can click the admit card button to download their admit cards. The prelims admit card has been issued to the selected candidates on 18.7.18. SBI started online application registration for SBI PO 2018 on 21.4.18. The online application process closes on 13.5.18.

The SBI PO salary will be attractive and handsome with astonishing perks offered by the bank. However, the salary structure depends on the location.

While filling the online application for SBI PO 2018, the candidates will be given a choice of selecting their exam centre. Candidates are allotted in their respective centres with their wish only. However, if there is any unavailability in the selected centre, the bank may shift the candidate to the nearest centre.

SBI PO Preliminary Exam

The SBI PO prelims is conducted for 1 hour duration for 100 marks

SBI PO Main Exam

  • Reasoning & Computer Aptitude      45   60

Descriptive Test:

A 30 minutes descriptive test for 50 marks is conducted. It is conducted to test the candidate’s writing skill through letter writing and essay writing

The Penalty for Wrong Answers:

0.25 marks are deducted as a penalty to wrong answers in both preliminary and mains exam.

Phase-3: Group Exercise & Interview

The aggregate marks of all the candidates from both prelims and mains, descriptive tests will be arranged in descending order. The decided number of candidates based on their performance will be called out for group discussion and interview. The qualifying marks in GD & interview will be decided by the bank. GD carries 20 marks and interview carries 30 marks. Once everything is finalized SBI PO results will be announced by the bankers.
